OK, Went to the Dallas Mopar Club Show at Chucks tonight in Carrollton, TX. About 40 cars there. Took first place in 90's and newer against 8 other cars, mostly vetts. If this sounds familiar, it's cause I took 1st last week at a 4th of July County Show. It has now occurred to me that the Prowler in a show is really no competition. I feel bad now... There was not a moment that Pretty Kitty didn't have 8-10 folks standing around her taking pictures. Do you other owners have the same experience? Thinking about showing up for the next show dirty. Will see if she still wins. If so, then no more shows for me, as I am begining to expect 1st place when I go. I have seen some of the cars you other owners have, and they are awesome! Have you all just won so many trophys, that you just dont try anymore? I really have fun, and am really not trying to brag. No really. Am just wondering if any Prowler entered into a show is gonna take the prize, and if so, what's the point of showing against little competition. Congrats! We still show our car, but have been limited to the number of events attended this year due to a lot of traveling and the weather(lots of rain). So far this year we took first at the Landmark Dodge Mopar Southern Classic Prowler Class (againts 2 other Kats). We go mostly for the fun but it would be a lie to so I don't enjoy picking up throphies as well. Next show we a planning to attned is July 24th. |

Chris, Unfortunately, I'm gonna miss the show today. I wanted to go, but the little lady say's I gotta eat dinner with friends tonight. Are you "IN" the show? And if so, maybe you could just ask for your trophy early. Then you could just move the car and enjoy the rest of the show without having to babysit the Kitty... I had to chase 2 kids away from the car last night at the show, they were trying to open the doors to sit inside !!! Anyhow, let me know how it goes. Also, if you get back in time, there is a show at the Lewisville Hooters around 2:30 today. Again wanted to go also, but she wont let me... Have a great time !
