My low tire pressure light stays on all the time ( steady not flashing) I unhooked the battery for about 5 minute and that did not take care of the problem, one tire was low, I added are to bring it up to the rest of the tires which is 30 lbs. Any one got any ideas?? thanks Dan

One way to reset the computer is to air all the tires up to around 40-45 pounds, disconnect the battery, then lower the air pressure to the correct readings, reconnect the battery and drive around the block. That should reset everything. Or, you can do what some of the rest of us have done and put a piece of electrical tape over the light. My sensors haven't worked right since 2001 at Crazy Horse. I have replaced the sensors individually on nine occassions and I finally gave up.

To Dave Mills, I will fallow you first suggestion, and I believe the second on will do the trick. Thanks, we think alike. Dan

That was a really funny reply about using electrical tape. I am a NEW Prowler owner (2 weeks ago today) and I have experienced the low air light staying on steady AND blinking on different days. I have theories but NO solid proof as to wtf is causing it! It seems like RAIN causes it (sometimes) and also, driving it a few miles [wet or dry] normally causes the light to go out! I drove it home from Orlando to Montgomery, AL not noticing the connector to the right windshield wiper was disconnected. Thinking it had just slipped off, I reconnected it--and shortly thereafter is when the light came on the first time. Now, even since disconnecting it again...it will still come on--at times. The weird thing is--all the tires have enuf air AND the light always goes out (whether being steady on or blinking] after a few miles. It is a curious thing, but doesn't bother me since none of the tires are now runflats anyway. The orig owner had 2 new NON runflats on the rear. And withing 3 days I had new non runflats installed on the front--for 2 reasons: 1) Wanted 4 new tires at one time. 2) Since rears were new non RFs I figured I'd make the fronts similar. Now when all 4 wear out I may return to RFs...but for the price diff--probably not! Got 2 new [F] Eagle F1s for $459 out-the-door. RFs are just toooooo expensive, eh!
