black gizmo with all of the ventilation slots in it that is between the back of the hood and the windshield, that the windshield wipers come out of???

If so, I'd love to see some pics...Seems like painting it in the body color would visually extend the hood lines.

Is there a link I can look at? Any advice here?? Is there a reason it's not painted??

The reason for flat black is for sun glare,same reason for black wiper arm and not chrome.

I have also painted the arms orange but left the black blades for the moment get no glare off of either, yet?

I think it would be rather tough to get glare off of the cowl. It is too far below the windshield and I don't think anyone is tall enough to see down into that area.

I've seen one of these chromed. It was a very nice show chrome and looked very nice on that Kat. The rest of the Kat was also seriously chromed-everywhare !!!!! Obi-Wan
