I, like a lot of others here at the POA purchased a set of service manuals for their Kats (mines a 2000 red). However, I guess unlike others here, the paper manuals weren't good enough. So when I saw a Ebay Ad for a service manual on CD, I became interested. I called my local dealer to ask if such a product was ever offered. I was told the manuals on CD were issued to the shop, but not available to the general public (for some reason the shop manager didn't know). Well I decided to take a gamble and buy it! Boy was I sadly disappointed! Not only isn't it a manual (its just a auto owners program) but the Ebay dealer (who had fairly good feedback) is no longer a seller there! I will be more careful in the future (1st bad purchase in 5 years) Besides wanting to warn the group, I also wanted to know if there EVER was a manual on CD? My local dealers shop foreman said there was. Is one really available? |

Leo, I believe what is on CD is the Parts dept detail when they need to zero in on a part #. They used to have this on Micro but I think it is now on CD. It is not a manual and I dont think one was ever offered on CD Mike |

The CD I purchased on EBay was the parts manual. I think I paid around $7.00 for it. It details all the parts and their corresponding numbers. |

we now get all our manuals for the service department on cd, no more books. I will check and see if back years can be ordered or not and let you know. block-buster ------------------ |
