I notice a number of people drive convertibles with the top down but with the side windows up. I always have my side windows down when the top is down on my Prowler.

How 'bout you? Windows up or down?

It's illegal to drive a Prowler with the top-down and the windows-up.

Highways and "short" trips = windows down

Interstates / 80+ mph and long trips = windows up (so I'm still able to hear some music !)

Go along with Oliver. But since my windows are tinted and my air patrol is tinted, it looks good with the windows up. When I am in a car show they are up.

Windows down unless its cold enough to run the heater and then up to keep the heat inside. Unless the boss says she wants the windows up for some reason

If I am going to drive with the convertible top down, the windows are not going to be up!! I've never understood this.

The other thing I have seen that kills me is the number of convertibles (other than Prowler) who put their top down, front windows down, but leave the back windows up? What's up with that??

We never have the windows up if the top is down. If conditions do not warrant the windows being down, we keep the top up.

During the first year that I owned the Prowler I never had the top or windows up. Even in the dead of winter when it got down to a bonechilling 45 degrees. The neighbors just assumed it didn't have any. But now I have a really cool hardtop and I am torn between the two.

old subject, SAME RESPONSE

I told my daughter that if I caught her driving her `92 Mustang convertible with the top down and windows up I would sell the car.

I feel there should be a FEDERAL law that it is illegal to drive a convertible with the top down and windows up and the car can be impounded on site until the driver attends a cool car class on the PROPER way to drive a convertible. IF you window is broke, get it fixed, BUT leave the top up until it is repaired.

IF it is too cold to have the windows down when the top is down PUT THE TOP UP......YOU ARE A GEEK AND DO NOT DESERVE THE CAR

This is not to offend anyone. This is my opinion

You're a bit behind the times, wc. The Federal Law WAS passed in the 50's, just as you described.

I have noticed that people from several regions seem to ride with their windows up and top down more than the rest of us. Florida, California, Canada, some from Texas.

The windows are down unless I am talking on the cell phone while cruising at Interstate speeds.

I agree Top down Windows down! I usually have my windows down with the top up because they are tinted very, very dark and it feels too closed in with the windows up.

Marty what is interstate cruising speed anyway? At the Stampede I was going 85+ and you were pulling away!!

Also my son brought me the lights - Thanks.
