Just for point of reference, the weather (temp, humidity & pressure) had a negative affect on your ET times as compared to good cool weather & low humidity... For the stock Prowlers or those with gears, my estimate is a .3 affect on your times. With cooler temps and lower humidity and at sea level your times would have improved by .3 tenths. For those Prowlers with NOS, Supercharger, Stroker, the times would have improved by .6 tenths in cooler & less humid weather...

My red Prowler with low boost Paxton, Gears, straight pipes, stock catalytic converters & tips times:

1st time trial) ET 13:4937 & 104.21 mph against Jerry in the Viper truck
2nd time trial) ET 13:6197 & 103.42 mph raced Mike Blue Stroker& NOS when he ran the 12:07
3rd time trial) ET 13:7279 & 102.39 mph raced against the Josh's Challenger who ran consistent 11:98s

Made five runs in the Bracket race and the Kat was running strong my times ranged from 13:7s to 15:6s. The bracket race times don't necessarily reflect how fast the car could have gone (the 15:6 was in a bye run) and used the bracket racing strategy of backing off after passing an opponent, to avoid breaking out of your dial-in time.

Also ran my Dodge Ram Diesel truck three times during the time trials.

1st) ET 17:1588 & 80.20 mph against Cnote Chevy gas truck and loss by .3
2nd) ET 17:0544 & 80.43 mph against Cnote Chevy gas truck and loss again by .4
3rd) ET 17:2932 & 80.50 mph bye run

It was a very good event and no one broke anything... In looking over all the results, and trying to apply an average, it looks like the Stock Prowlers ran around 15:3s. Those with Gears and/or headers ran around 15:0s. NOS, Superchargers 13:5s. There's always exceptions above or below... We had three Paxton low boost cars, one NOS car, one Stroker & one Stroker plus NOS... Not sure of the exact breakdown between Stock & Gear cars (one had Gears plus Dean's headers)...

What a blast to actually drive my car home from the track with the engine undamaged! The new stroker engine was running about 1 full second faster than the stock engine cars with gears- except Rich Ware who was about a 1/4 second faster than the other stock engine cars with gears. I was still a few tenths slower than the Paxton cars. (I ran without nitrous on all seven runs) This was the first time I have been to a track and had my fastest times at the end of the night (due to cooler temps)

I had several runs right at the 14.0 mark for the quarter and 9.0 for the 1/8 th. It was fun.

Even though I lost, it was fun racing a Cuda (the primer gray one) with slicks and still being close at the 1/8 mile mark.

Another successful POA event!

John - hopefully I'll have my tuning issues settled and maybe a surprise (probably six months away) that involves removing the nitrous and adding something else. We'll have fun at Woodward, no matter what!

Side note on one of Lethia's runs: (her first time running at the drags)

Lethia went up against a Neon SVT 4/Supercharged
Nipped him at the line for a WIN I was shocked!!!

The Neon's next run, he added a shot of NOS and had a good time.

I ran that Neon in the Bracket race. He dialed in a 14.3 and I dialed in a 14.7. I was determined he would not beat me. He also must of been anxious because he red lighted so I lifted before I crossed the finish.

We have made the correction for the Winner of the Modified Stock class. Creed Smith with his Silver Prowler running headers and gears is the Official Winner of Class.

Rich Ware has been notified and was very gracious in recieving the news.
