Hi! First time poster.... I have a red 1999 that I bought in late January.

I was just curious if there are any POA members on the Hot Rod Power Tour (PT). My husband and 2 (of 3) kids are long hauling it in a 55 Belair w/ a blown 454. My husband took a few pics of a black Prowler at the Tulsa stop. Said he saw a couple Prowlers heading the other way on the freeway as they drove from Arlington to Tulsa.

I stayed home to work ... and pay for the gas the 55 is sucking down. Anyway, if you are on the PT and see a beige primer 55 w/ AZ plates, say hello.

Yep - he will be with the tour when they get to Green Bay. There are supposedly 2,500 long haulers this year. If you are interested, he's posting pics on his web site http://www.selectric.org. The kat pic he took is under day 1.

Is there anyway that he can let you know the Route they are taking from Chicago to Green Bay.... does he have a pre-planned map, layout, and TIMES ?
I would not want to go watch on I43 if they come up Hwy 41!

The Prowlers you saw passing going the other way was probably Real Rod Bob, and one other owner that was on that route that morning heading to Austin for our national event.

Here are the driving directions for the last day (Chicago to Green Bay) from Hot Rod magazine's Power Tour web site. Should be quite exciting if you can manage to catch them on the road. My husband said something about the drivers' meetings being held at 8 - 8:30. So I imagine they will hit the road around 9 am or before.

I figured the kats they saw headed the other way were on the way to the Stampede! Wish I was there! Must be quite a site with so many kats in one place.
