Hi guys Im a major prowler fan and saw a 2001 black for sale at a local dealership with 38000 plus miles on it and thought this might be my chance to get a good deal. I called the dealership today and was told that they wanted $36000.00 dollars for it, which seemed high to me because I've seen them on this link and on ebay for that and lower with a hell of a lot less miles then that on it so my 2 part question is What would be a fair price for a car with that many miles on it (am I wrong to assume that's to high?) 2- any good tips to go in and plead my case would be much appreciated also thanks Chris |

First - welcome to prowleronline.com. A car's value is whatever someone will pay for it. A lot of people on this website are hoping prices have bottomed out and are starting to trend upward. There was only one Chrysler black Prowler made in 2001 if my memory is correct. Black Plymouth Prowlewrs were made in 99 (gray bumpers) and 2000 (black bumpers) A Black tie model - black over silver was made in 2001. Mulholland Blue (Dark blue) were 2001's. I agree with your assessment that with that many miles at that price it is higher than I would pay. Someone else may, but not me! Check out the classifieds here and keep looking on Autotrader/ebay. Marty Good luck. ------------------ |

I would think with that many miles something around $28 to 30 K would be the fair to high price. |

Hmm, good question... Since mine with 1200 miles is worth about $3,700,000.00, this one should be worth about $1,900,000.00. ------------------ 2001 Burnt Orange Chrysler Prowler |

It was good that you asked here first. $35 is a good range for a low milage Prowler and color. JMO I think after all the new ones are sold the price will hold. Welcome and enjoy the ride!! The people here are the best of friends and and and you will find out, just ask. |
