What's with the Blockbuster ad in your banner? Are you a franchisee or something?

truth is my last name is blockhus and a long time ago Larry (AC) nicknamed me block-buster so the tag stuck, when Dan made the banner he just used the sign in the banner I have nothing to do with the company.

Hey Block-Buster,

I hate to pee on your parade but your banner looks suspiciously like the Blockbuster Video logo which is a registered trademark belonging to Viacom. To be safe, you should get A/C to work out a licensing agreement with them for the use of the logo.

do you really think they would worry about me using a similar type logo? I doubt that they would ever even see this site for one thing and if one of them drives a Prowler and surf our site he might like the idea.

Dan how about putting a space between block and buster change the back ground color and then we can move on.

thanks

Curtis,

I dunno, Man - people get sued all the time for less. But come to think of it, maybe you can generate some $$ from it - have Blockbuster pay YOU every time you post a likeness of their logo.
Me, I'm still workin' on a deal with M&M Mars where they'll pay me to put a decal of the yellow M&M Guy on my car.

Curt - Last I heard,,,M & M didn't like your offer. Seems they thought you look too much like the M & M Guy for their tastes, lol. Better take that DOLE offer you got,,,,,kindof looks like their banana anyway! Don't get it bruised

Well I guess liveing on the edge is what life is all about, so Im on the edge now but with Dan (Superman) watching out for my breakfeast cereal I feel real safe.

As for the M&M deal that would be sweet (lol) they could also give you a few cases to hand out for advertisement, and of course you can mail them out to your prowler supporters, good luck and let me know when you want my mailing address so you can send a couple of cases, I will pass them onto Dan, JD, AC Ed and a few others to help you out.
