Hello everyone, I'm back as a full time supporter of the POA. You can once again buy our products directly from Metalcrafters. Bob at Real Rod has been a wonderful supporter of our products and will continue to offer our products, but we feel that we have lost that personal interaction with you, the buyer, and we encourage and enjoy that experience while doing business directly with you. We are revising our position in the aftermarket industry with a dedicated staff just for our accessory division. This will no longer be a one-man operation. Our website will be changing within the next 45 days to reflect our dedication. Until it's completed, all of our products can be viewed in the "Vendors Section" of the POA web site. Our product line still includes body accessories for the Prowler, Viper, & PT Cruiser. I look forward to coming to the local events once again in So Cal to see some old and new faces. More exciting product information to follow soon. ------------------ This message has been edited by Norb @ TGF on 03-04-2004 at 07:13 PM |

Awesome news!!! As a new kat owner I must say that I'm so glad there's so much support for these cars from fellow owners as well as the aftermarket customization community. My kat's already beautiful, but having such great options is the perfect added bonus!! The wide availability of top notch third-party additions to the car really did help me decide to finally bite the bullet and get one for myself. And I naively assumed that my desire would stop at the stock kat... Anyone got hints on how to get rich quick so I can afford them all? No Nigerians need apply ed |

Thanks everyone for the kind words. The last hardtop production run is 99% completed. I have shipped the following hardtops as of yesterday, 3/4/04. Jim Rothchild - Hardtop #0215 (installed @ Metalcrafters 1/28/04) The following that will ship today, 3/5/04 David Shlagman - Hardtop #0231 (shipped 3/5/04) Hardtops ready for shipping but customer has not sent billing information or payment: Ken Owens - Hardtop #0217 (Red, I heard he sold his Prowler? Cannot reach customer to confirm.) Hardtops in process that will ship no later than Friday, 3/12: Craig Mangeng - Hardtop #0226 FYI - I have (1) Red Hardtop order that was cancelled, maybe (2) Red Hardtops if Ken Owens has sold his Prowler? I have tried for the last week or so to reach Ken. These tops are packaged and ready to ship if anyone wishes to purchase them. Cost is $2960.00 + shipping per hardtop. I have a production run of (20) hardtops that is starting up on Monday, 3/8/04 and I only have approx 50% of them already spoken for which leaves me with approx 10 hardtops to sell. My composites dept can produce (5) hardtops per week. Once each hardtop is produced, the painting, headliner installation, rear window installation and final assembly w/packaging for shipping is a 3 week lead-time with our new processes we have put into place. Please feel free to call me with any questions. Have a wonderful day! ------------------ This message has been edited by Norb @ TGF on 03-06-2004 at 09:41 AM |
