Let me ask your opinion on something. I am looking at 3 Kats that I am interested in purchasing. Which would you choose?

'01 Orange 29,400 miles $31,900;
'01 Mulhulland 36,000 miles $30,000
'01 Mulhulland 838 miles $35,000

Let me know your choice.

I agree, the low mile mulholland. With all things equal except the mileage, 3k more for an almost new vehicle is a gimmee..

If money were no object, I would go for the Mulholland with 838 miles. That would be my first choice

35, aint bad at all for a low milege Mul. I'd go for it unless you really like the orange. There both very good buys. To split haire I personally would go with the mul. cus first, its a named model and probably way down the road they might be worth more-but that shoulden't be the main reason for you buying it. I personally think these(any of them) are a great buy right now and I firmly think the prices will do nothing but go up over time. So... what are you waiting for get crazy-like the reat of us !!!!!! Check out the 99 Red with 800 miles for $ 32,000 in the free classifieds. Just listed. That sounds like a pretty good deal, to me.

Check with CJ first. She said there are still alot of NEW Mulhollands out there.

About 2 years ago, I found several that had only 7-10 miles on the OD, never titled, and were going for $32-35K.

Two years later, you could probably get a brand spankin new one now for even less now.

IMO, I'd try new first!

hubbard.........I answered your question about the certificates on the other thread..........here is my answer again......

quote:
You can use a Friends and Family certificate to purchase a Chrysler Prowler. Plymouth Prowlers do not apply for Friends and Family. However, dealers are NOT obligated to honor these certificates.
The Employee Choice program is set up with the same guidelines, but again, the dealers are NOT obigated to honor it on Prowlers.

So, if you can find a dealer who is willing to sell you a Chrysler Prowler under either of these programs, yes, we can get you a certificate.

YF is correct, I do have a list of all new Prowlers still available and there are still quite a few Mulhollands and Gold left. Also other colors.

Of course I would go with the Orange, but for you, buy them both look at them for a year they decide which one you don't want. Since it is your money I thought I could express any dumb opinion. It is your money, but just what you want and don't let any of us make your decision for you. Enjoy whatever you get...

CJ know of other NEW blue one out there that you can buy for less then they were selling that used one for.

Contact CJ unless you have your heart set on buying used for the same or more money.

Be sure the Prowlers with that many miles aren't some rental rats being sold off by a dealer that got them at auction.

To be honest, there are a lot of lower mileage Prowlers out there for similar sales prices. I'd pass on BOTH of them (great color choices though!) Springtime may bring a few more out for sale and each week there seems to be several more new ones listed in various places.

Just stay away from the ones with overseas sellers that offer to ship them to you for free! There have been a few of those scams lately.
Good luck!

Go for low miles and low price. I only paid $29,900 1 1/2 years ago for a 2001 with 4300 miles. You can do at least that good now if you are patient. If I was buying now I would consider up to $32,000 for the same car.
As suggested take your time and find what you want at the price you can afford.
GOOD LUCK - They are AWESOME !
