First let me say hi to everyone... it's been a while since I posted!!! I thought my Kat had been feeling sluggish lately... last time it was in the dealer everything came back a-ok.. I thought I would do a little checking on my own. I decided to check out the air filter. For those of you that havent done much on your own.... what a pain in the butt!!! I reached under the car to open the airbox... Had to jack up the car to see better... still not much luck.. So I took off the side panel and checked it out. How about nearly a hand full of LEAVES IN the airbox!!! It was on the good side of the filter, but how the heck did those get in there??? I have always covered my car when it was left outside...?? Also the filter is looking pretty dirty... how come the dealer didnt notice this? I would suggest to all Prowler owners who drive them often to check their's out. I was shocked at what I found. Thought I would pass it on! PS... Cleaned them out and it seemed to feel better... also ordered a K&N replacement... should be in tomorrow.. that should help too. ------------------ 94' Mustang Cobra |

Frank, If you get a high performance air cone you won't ever have that problem.... plus you'll like th sound of the engine.
