Ever wonder what a full fender Prowler would look like? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3175418830&category=1190 |

Larry Lord was working on a full fender conversion. It was on, the off and last I heard on again. Larry, Status? I think it looks good but I have always like HiBoy Roadsters so I would not convert ours. |

This look really gives it that 30's look.I think I prefer the Prowler the way it is-the modern/retro styling! ------------------ |

Don't like it. It makes it look like every other 30's street rod out there. |

Randy, Thanks. The old one was not very flattering of the car. |

After we developed our accessories that we currently sell for the Prowler in 1999, we started working on a full fendered kit for the car. We never made the tooling due to lack of interest. Most Prowler owners we talked with at the various shows/events we attended back in 2000, loved the Prowler just the way it was so we never continued the project. It definitely give it a more retro look. ------------------ This message has been edited by Norb @ TGF on 06-24-2004 at 10:30 AM |

I'd love to see one completed. It probably would not sell many, but I think a few conversions would be welcome. |

There is one in progress. It's at Von Genaddi Design. As long as mine is STILL at the paint shop, we been toying with a new grille and have taken a long hard look at a full fender set up. I'm sure Mark will have one done long before mine is ready. ------------------ |

I dont care for it either...the front end is a large portion of what separates this car from the rest, just because I had one of those piano ties in the 80's doesn't mean I will ever wear it again...no matter how much I liked it...shh.. |

I personally like the open fender look far better. This is a large part of what makes the styling of the Prowler different from all other cars. ------------------ |
