The Gods smiled upon us yesterday, with sunshine and I was able to bring my 2001 Prowler home!!! Thank God, today, it's snowing again. Got it in the garage and washed all the salt off underneath it. It was still nice enough that I was able to completely wash and vacuum it. When I bought it I was told that the owner (who had passed away) had a couple of extras that they would give me. Man, my mouth dropped open when I saw what they were giving me. I loaded my Explorer with 1.) Mopar car cover with bag 2.) 2 extra wheel covers. 3.) 2 brand new Prowler mats. 4.) complete set of mudflaps. 5.) Service manual. I also got the extended 7 year warranty and still have 1 year left on the 3 year warranty. What a nice family. I assured them that the car will be pampered for life. They even took pictures when I was driving away.

tz,

Congradulations. Sounds like your new cat went from a "good home" to a "good home".

I'm just glad I got it home right now without it being covered with snow. As a rule I'm a dog person but my wife always wanted a cat so we got one! maybe she will ask for a snake (Viper) next!!

Just went in the garage and took a picture. Notice the celebratory empty 12 pack of Corona in the lower left hand portion of the picture.

Ignore the cr*ppy floor. That's what I get for painting it with rustoleum epoxy floor paint.

Time to accessorize!!

Just got back from meeting with the family that sold me the Prowler and they gave me 2 more wheel covers and another full set of mudflaps. I bought a set before I even got the cars home, so I have 3 complete sets now. Maybe I should start going into business?

I put a 10 x 10 shed in the back yard. Put everything I had in the garage in the shed with room to spare. Best thing I ever did. 10 gallons of drywall mud later, I finally finished the garage. The only thing I keep in their besides my cars are my tools and an air compressor. My wife keeps coming up with ideas to fill it up and I keep coming up with excuses not to.

Gotta go Taz! We can catavan down together... you'll Love It....

and at the least I look forward to meeting you in a midwest gathering soon enough too. The group from Wisconsin (Milwaukee area) try to get together every summer.... usually get a few Chicago people to join us.
Last year we did the Kettle Moraine area, just north of Milwaukee..... nice country, great group of people.
