Dan...as always...nice job on the banner.

JD...your updated banner looks great..I love the way your Car is outrunning the bullet...there will be none of those popular bullet holes in the back of your car!.

This banner reminds me of the Super Bowl commercial where the Caddilac is running down the highway, stops and the sound catches up.

Cool commercial.

As I said on the phone Dan, that head is pretty big, but maybe some see me that way anyway, lol.

Patty likes it, reminds her of that guy over the fence on Tool Time. So let's keep it, with that added link I was telling you about.

Fred, from the time posted on your banner, it does look like we could have some fun at the drags. I would like to go, but I really don't think I can get away, haul or drive the car for three days, have tons of fun for 4-5 days, then take 3 days or so coming back home.
I really am just a working guy here, who for reasons kept to myself got a late start in what is called the real world I guess. So I am paying for my past playtime now by having to keep my nose to the grindstone to try to build something for the future.
I enjoy my life tremendously now, Patty has just added more joy to it for me. But I really need to pick and choose the time I take off. I have a family now that I have to think about first.

Now, having said all that I realize there are, and have been, lots of email, PMS and phone calls that go on behind the scene here stating that this could be a cop-out on my part. That my car is not as fast as I like to think it is, (I assure you it is), or the looks of the car are not impressive to some. The comments on the looks of my car by others do not bother me at all. After all, I do things to my car to make me happy, and others should use that same reason for their mods.
But was does entice me into trying to make it is the drags. I love to race this car. Not many things pumps my juices more than running V8's and seeing their faces afterward.

And, to be honest, I don't belive I have seen a better looking, faster prowler than mine the way it is set up now. But if I got beat, so be it, I would just get up and go again.

So, after getting past this lengthy reply, (thanks for reading btw), if I can find a way to make I will. But it does not look promising yet from this end. I would love to go against the true racers of these cars such as you, Laddie, Marty, and more.
It would truly be a blast.

John, I completely understand what comes first is family. I, like you, do it for the love of SPEED and not if I get wiped. One thing I learned a long time ago is "there is ALWAYS someone faster on any given day". I believe it is the partisipation that counts and being able to say "I was there." We would love to have you here and I've never even met you ,,,,Yet!,,,,Maybe? Hope you can work something out, the Silver Bullet deserves to be in the mix for sure.. Now if we get Butchcee to bring the Twin-Turbo Kat we'd be set.. Just imagine it, some of the fastest Prowler's in the country together!! Something to talk about for years to come. We'll be crowning the World's Fastest Stock Prowler and the World's Fastest Prowler.

John, Your car is one of the best looking ones I've seen. It looks especially good in my driver side mirror.

And race and race and race. If it had been up to you that day we would have kept racing 'til one of us was walking.

John,

I know first hand how great your cat looks and I know first hand how fast it is. Whether or not it is the fastest doesn't really matter in the big scheme of life.

We would love to see you at the Texas event, but not because your cat is cool looking and fast.......but because you and Patty are friends and we'd have a great time!! If you could see your way to make it to the event, do it because you just want to hang out with all your friends.

Your right CJ, and I appreciate being reminded of the freindship. My main goal this year is to get to Woodward first. If I can fit anything else in it would be a bonus.
