Mike paid big dollars for the LAST Prowler with very special paint,,, what is DC trying to DO? Now there is 2, I guess all would be forgiven if Mike was able to hit the button of the CRUSHER. Anything less than that I would have a time with them in COURT. I would think the Krehels would have an excellant case. I am sorry Mike/Judy, the HVB is special car to both of you, all you have done for DC with this board. If it wasn't for this board I wouldn't be a DODGE fan as I type. Sorry, this disturbs me. Maybe I should do my 'Less is More' |

I'm guessing Rich is correct - that it is the SEMA car. |

Touchy, touchy, touchy! Before someone gets all excited and hurts themselves, here's the facts...... I was over at DCX Auburn Hills Headquarters getting gas and a car wash yesterday. Eagle-eyes CJ spied the snow-covered forlorn Prowler in one of the storage lots on the way out. Normally photography is banded on the complex. This is a remote lot outside of the secure area. She thought that everyone would get a charge out of the picture. This Prowler is not a real car. It's like many others DCX has, some of which people are aware of like the white one that gets everyone so excited. I didn't pay that much attention to this car, but I'd guess that it's the '97 pre-production purple car that was repainted "million dollar" blue and refurbished for the SEMA Show three years ago. If it isn't, it's a color try out car destined for the same fate that all of these tools face...."THE CRUSHER." Can't we have a little humor and fun here?????? |

Haven't been online all day up until now. I guess Bob got to this before I could!! .........and by the way...this blue is not the same as the High Voltage Blue. It is actually a different color mix. I wanted to take it home and give it a little TLC! |

That's a shocking photo, but the top is black, so I thought of the Sema car. The color is close, but not High Voltage Blue. If the reall HV Blue saw that picture he'd be scared |

It's a beautiful color. I wish DC had done that shade of blue rather than the Mulholland blue. ------------------ |

Lets also remind everyone that the High Voltage was more than just a different color paint job. Taupe color interior and annodized frame just to mention some differences. Also it is documented as the last Prowler built. Bottom line there is more than just the color that makes the High Voltage valuable by a long shot. That said. I would also like to give the blue kitty a new home. If I promise to add it to my model collection and never drive it do you think DC will sell it too me? and cheap? |
