Due to the little amount of response we realized that we were not going to meet the minimum number of participants for the activities planned. Therefore we are cancelling the itinerary and instead a few of us will still be going for the week but we will just take things day to day while we are there. See the event discussion section for details. Money that we have already received will be refunded IMMEDIATELY. Anyone that still wishes to join us is welcome. |

Sad news but there are just too many cruises going on this year to do them all IMO. I'll be doin the Canada cruise this year. ------------------ |

That's too bad. Perhaps more would sign up closer to the event. Seems to be the pattern and that's always what I do. I'll obviously be at the Canada and hopefully Texas |

Unfortunately, we are only able to do one of the three this year and we have chosen Texas. |

We can't be there the first couple of days but planned on being there later in the week. Hopefully there will be some interest shown as we get closer to the scheduled dates. |

I was trying to get down there, also, just didn't know yet at this point. Would come even if it was informal! |

We are still planning on going down. I think it is a great area and will still be a lot of fun. Really the only difference will be (1)no advance payments and (2) regular rates instead of group rates for some of the events but that only amounts to around 10% so not too big of a deal. Other than that I see no reason we still cannot do everything that was on the original agenda with the exception of Bristol. It would still be great if we could get a decent size group to go down and let's face it - a lot of event iteneraries are pretty informal anyway (usually ends up being more fun that way). |

Informal works for me. Hoping to get there for a day or two after weekend activities at home. |

We would have loved to have been there again this year - had a great time last year, but just way too much going on with the stuff here then to go. Have a great time and ride a ride at Dollywood for us!!! We'll be thinking of you guys! Tami and Ken |

This location is definately a great place to have an event. Much to see and do. Natural beauty abounds. Great roads to cruise. Realizing that many who attended last years event could only choose one event this year, and that they would probably choose a different venue was part of the reason for changing this to an informal event. If you plan to attend ANY event this year, PLEASE, sign up as early as you possibly can to help those who are planning the event for you to structure the event. Knowing if the number of participants will be large or small is imperative. So, please be mindful of those who are planning the event. Our event will be informal, but we will have a great time and we invite any of you who want to join us. I am fortunate this year to be able to attend all 3 events as several others may do as well. Again, please sign up early for any event you plan to attend. Jim |
