Just heard a promo for a new show on Discovery Channel this Friday night at 10 pm eastern with Boyd Cottington building a hot rod Bet it will be worth watching! |

BT- It's a weekly ritual for my son and I to catch Monster Garage @ 9:00 and American Choppers @ 10:00. Rides is pretty good too. We caught the first American Hot Rod show with Boyd with the yellow & blue highboy. I haven't seen the promos foe Southern Chopper yet. Is it going to be on DSC, TLC or what network? ------------------ |

It looked to me Boyd was trying to copy Paul Sr. too much. Seemed too phoney to me. American Chopper is much better. Have not caught "Rides" yet. ------------------ |

With the miles of S##t on all of the TV stations it is really nice to see this sort of thing catching on. The craftsmanship is just wonderful. almost a lost art now days.   |

Boyd was on Discovery last Friday. Not as good as Ameican Chopper but OK. Some of it seemed contrived but I am sure oCC is as well. Interesting that Boyd has his Ex wife still working for him and now has what some would call a throphy wife ie younger and much prettier than the EX. |

Randy: I saw the promo on Discovery channel...it's a cousin show to American Chopper. They got this southern dude with the long pointy white ZZTop beard drawlin and welding....It looks great. Don't forget BArrett-Jackson is on all this week! |
