There are always the opinions of which color is the best or worst on the Prowler. As in the other post, there was mentioned that there are plenty of ugly colors that could have been on the car.

So let me start with...Colors That the Prowler should never be...

Advocado green (like the refrigerator you bought in 1971)
"Baby sh*t" brown
dark brown
sky blue (very light blue...."It's A Boy" blue)

I would have said white, but I take it back after seeing "I Scream"...LOL.

any other colors I missed?

I really don't think there is a color that the Prowler would not look good in unless its some really off the wall color. There would naturally be some I would like less than others. I have to repecfully disagree with both pink and most especially pearl white not looking good. Panther Pink, well you've just gotta love it and if you have ever seen Jerry's I-Scream Prowler even though it is not pearl, the white is awesome. JMO

I agree...

The I-Scream Prowler showed white works!
Pink would work if it was a show car pink/ leaning towards purple.....but I think GRROWL is referring to that ugly pastel pink.

BTW: Pink polka dots would NOT look good on a Prowler...or any car....or anything. LMAO>

BT161 , Believe it or not I have seen a Prowler with Pink Polka Dots. Pauley rented a Mulholland in Colorado for the 2002 Prowlin the Rockies event and put various size stick on pink polka dots all over it. I have a picture somewhere. I will try and find it to post.

On the other hand, you know that color that can only be described as FLEM YELLOW/GREEN - you know, that irridescent color that you cough up when you have an upper respiratory infection? That would look pretty good on a prowler.

Ohhh!!!.. Now you are really getting bad. LOL. Actually any color would look good on a Kat. It's not the color that people see at all. It's what is under the color that people see. Any of the above mentioned colors may sound bad. I bet if they were done by the right painter, and trimmed up right, they would look good. JMO

Well, glad to see the thread was taken in the vein intended....so far.

I still challenge you to picture a dark Brown Prowler...They don't even make ANY cars in that color...LOL. The prowler would look like an FBI agent's left shoe....

I always said a PT Cruiser would look good in dark brown. Talking about an FBI Agent's left shoe, the G-men - Elliot Ness era cars are all dark sedans - black, dark maroon and BROWN. I would have actually considered a Dark Brown PT if they were available (the maroon was closest in spirit).

I've always thought this Green would look good on the Prowler (kinda looks like advocado green)....

This was the give away 33 Ford Roadster from the Shades of the Past event in Pigeon Forge the week after our PTS. A guy from Biloxi, MS won it... This was a pic I took from the World of Wheels show this weekend.

I think the only color that would not look good on the Prowler may be the UPS Brown truck color...

I would think a kat in turquoise or deep turquoise would be a color i would have a problem with.

Nice job, Whealy. Now sell the Mazda - you've already made the mods anyway - and start on the next Prowler project.

Whealy, that green looks pretty sharp.

Olive drab would not work for me.

Tan or beige would be pretty ugly as well.

I have seen a sky blue prowler around the streets of Toronto. Doesn't look bad, just not my color choice for a prowler. Hopefully we can get it to the Canada event in July.

that sounds like Curious Yellow they used in the early 70's.

I always told everyone that they must have pee'ed in the yellow paint before they painted my Curious Yellow `71 `Cuda Convertible

I actually think a brown with metal flake would look okay. If I saw it in person I might make a U-turn on my opinion, however.
