Some of you very nice folks have been chatting with me on my other (and only) thread where I said I am a prowler wannabe but I was having trouble talking my wife into it. Today, Saturday, January 17, 2004, at 5:47 p.m. C.S.T., she totally caved in!!!!!!!! Well, almost totally. I was telling her that CJ sent me a list of new '02 yellows and a few are just an hour or three away. I told her we had a great opportunity to get a new one with a new car warranty. She said......."What does that mean to me?" I explained that this opportunity wont last forever. She said...."I will make you a deal. Wait until you know for sure that you are retiring and taking a new job, and then you can go get your car." (I know, she referred to a prowler as a CAR, but she just doesn't know any better LOL) Whoooooo Whoooooooo! Pigs are flying tonight baby!! I will be in the market very soon if..... I have only a few months till I can retire with 25 years in, then I am looking for a new position in a different city. My retirement will provide the cash for the Kat! All I need do now is lock up the new job and I am prowlin' come summer!!!! Thanks for the help everybody. Steve |

Kat Dreamer - What you have to do is let her know that owning a Kat will make you almost as happy as the day you married your wife. Since she loves you, she will enjoy seeing the smile on your face when you are with your Kat. Better yet, put her behind the wheel so she understands what the thrill is all about. KD - my wife "caved" as you call it after I brought the kat home when I was the winning bidder on ebay. Now Reba has put her foot down and said "no more mods!" - She may be a tad late on that call!  Congrats and have fun on locating your perfect kat! ------------------  |

Congrats on your decision. Your wife won't mind when you're both driving around, and people are honking and waving at you like you guys are celebrities...(it REALLY happens...A LOT!) Just TRY to drive something else afterward.....what a letdown..LOL. |

Some times it's tuff, Getting a new car means getting a new wife.Will now I have both and just like the car she's faster not as old, and better looking.Can life get much better.LOL have fun buying your new car and driving it, remember the Texas stampede is June 7-11.that's the big one. |

Steve, Bob is correct. The Chrysler Prowlers do qualify for a Friends and Family certificate. Plymouth Prowlers do not!! 1% under dealer invoice if you can get the dealer to sell it to you under this program. They are not obligated, however!!  |

CJ, actually qualify for the full employee discount because my Dad retired from Chrysler. It seems as if some dealers are selling the remaining 2002 for 10K+ below sticker already. I dont think the employee price could improve on that. ??? |

Kat Dreamer, I just got my women to cave in back in November and got a new Yellow form the dealer. I bugged her so much she told me to just shut-up and get the damn thing. :-) I drive my cat to work everyday in Downtown Miami and when I stop at a light next to a Ferrari or Lambo, everyone looks at my cat instead of the them. It is a real unique car and I enjoy every minute of it. Good luck ------------------ |
