Does the Mopar Prowler Exhaust fit on a 1997 Prowler? Has any one done this before. I believe it will fit. Is there any increase in power (HP)?

P/N P5007536

What is the cheapiest place to buy it?

Thanks,

When I put my GaryE's/Borla kit on mine it moved the power to the higher rpm range and took some torque away. You might gain a little power but it just might move it around.

I see no reason why it wouldn't fit, make sure you call Jeff Hunter for pricing.......

Agree with Gary C, call Jeff as he gave me the best price I've seen around...slighly less than $600 and that included shipping. He's in NC and I'm in the DC area, so your shipping might be a bit more.

Spoons:

They may or may not fit.

Borla changed the shape of the pipes on the 2000 Prowlers vs. the 1999 Prowler model to match the change of the pipe layout by DC on 2000 Prowlers. Remember there were posts on POA a few years back about people complaining their Borla cat back pipes didn't fit the 2000 Prowler. That was because 1999 model year pipes were being sent out for 2000 Prowlers. Borla didn't know at the time about the pipe shape change by DC. Also remember there was a delay replacing those pipes by Borla. That was because Borla was re-tooling/setting up the machines to bend the pipes to model year 2000 DC specs.

The booze and my head knocking against the plexi-glass at the ice rink has affected my memory. I'd look into this a little bit more. Good luck.

Jef said he can get it for $583.80 + $14 s/h = $597.80

He also said that the new Mopar performace Catalog states the exhaust fits on 97-02 models

Not a bad price.
