I love it when my pictures show up! If you can find one... trim the tube that sticks out the bottom to match the length of the one that you remove from your Prowler. It's soft and can be cut with even cheapo scissors(sp?) but do the best you can. They are otherwise identical. ~bg |

Yes, the 300 chrome shifter will work, one problem with the top down your knob will get very hot. |

There are pictures of two different knobs in this thread. One of those two knobs, as pictured, IS installed in a Prowler. It fits. It works (if you trim the tube). The "chrome" is plastic just like the bezel. It is an OEM Chrysler part that was "factory" in ('01?) 300Ms for about six months. Chrysler discontinued it as a cost saving measure and used the "leather" knob (just like the one that came in your Prowler) on all 300Ms. The "chrome" 300M knob was availible from one of the Prowleronline.com suppliers and they also showed up on ebay, from time to time. I suspect the supply has dried up but there may be some out there...* The nice folks on this forum were happy to pay upwards of $100 for one of these a year ago. If you can find 'em for $22... buy at least 144 but, don't be gross about it. The other knob, I know nothing about. ~bg * and keep looking for that barn full of new '32 Ford 3 window coupes |
