Hi Black Tie, Thanks for your post and the single black stripe on Stinger. I think it looks good...but... Would it be possible to put a similar size Yellow stripe below the yellow (hood, deck, door line) on the black to accomplish a similarly smooth transition? I think that's what I'm looking for? Thanks in advance for your computer magic.. |

Black Tie, Thanks for the computer rendering of one Yellow line on the black. For now, I'm going with the "el cheapo AND el quicko" route below (not permanent) yellow TAPE stripe WHEN the paint drys. PAH's Sunset Ride, Those Signal fill panels haven't been fit up yet..%$#@#% . They are as good looking as they are hard to install... JWD and Chromer |

ONE STRIPE ONLY !!! ...I would go with the yellow stripe on the black, for some reason it just "LOOKS RIGHT" to me.....forget the black on the yellow....keep it simple...MAYBE, just maybe, a very small yellow scallop of some sort on the Carlini bumper covers....but very small... |

just another thought....I have the Carlinis on both my Kats.....went to a truck stop and bought a set of amber "bullet" lenses and wired them to the turn signals and they work just like the original turn signals and running lights....the bullet lenses really look nice with the style of the covers....and the larger lenses would also be just a little bit more "yellow" on the black... |

quote: Tangled, I really like your suggestion to go with "bullet" lenses and appreciate you letting me know I could get them at a truck stop. I'm really interested in how you were able to get both turn signals AND running lights. Not sure I understand how you did it...would like to know more. It's not to late YET. The body shop will have the covers painted and installed by Wednesday. Any chance of you being able to post a photo of one of your cats with the bullets? Thanks, |

If you go with the yellow stripe it should be MUCH THINNER than the photoshop you have here. Try a slightly different yellow ON THE YELLOW paint. As I said before, I did that on my red with a slightly different red stripe and it looks just great. JRL |
