I have a bunch of Prowler,Viper and Copperhead Christmas ornaments left over from several years ago....I bought cases of them to give away to my friends one year...just found some of them.....the Prowlers are purple and are approximately 1/43 scale with various Santa figures in them....they hang on your tree just like any other ornament.... " THE RULES " ...THE FIRST PERSON TO POST ALL THE CORRECT ANSWERS OR THE MOST CORRECT ANSWERS FIRST GETS THE ORNAMENT...cutoff will be when ever I wake up Sunday morning Dec. 14, 2003.....the prize is free and will be shipped free....no charges for anything....a free gift for the first to answer the questions correct......I am the final judge unless convinced I am wrong.....

question #1...
* first production year Corvette was produced with a V8 ???

question #2
* the '55 Chevy that appeared in the "American Graffitti" movies also appeared in one other movie....what was the movie ???

question #3
* in 1955,56 and 1957 Chevy produced a station wagon with a very unique roof style...it was called the "NOMAD"...Pontiac also had a version with the same roof style...what was it called ???

question #4
* the movie "American Graffitti"....what is the significance of the license plate number on the yellow coupe of John Milner ???

question #5
* in a round about way, the 1960s' TV show "Laugh-In" was responsible for the name of what muscle car of that era ???

question #6
* name at least 5 cars that use the name of a cat....(Prowler is not accepted)

question #7
* Dodge and Studebaker both used the same name(model designation) but not at the same time.... what was it ??? (hint....during the sixties)

question #8
* in the original movie "Vanishing Point", what kind of car did Kowalski crash at the end of the movie(the last scene) ???

question #9
* what make and year of car was "Christine" ???

question #10
* who is in this picture ???

GOOD LUCK....if this is fun for some of you, I will do it again...I have plenty of ornaments

I really think it is a `67 If I remember right it had side vent windows in the door, I have the video but the VCR that I used to do single frame play no longer works...maybe because I played and rewound VP one too many times

and while I was thinking of cars with Cat in the name.........I think that is what Larry was wanting

Buick "WildCat"
Stutz "BearCat"
are 2 that I thought of

His comment is that Prowler is not accepted. Being that is not a specific cat name, I don't think it has to be a cat name.

Interesting info about the Camaro in Vanishing Point.

I thought it was relatively easy, but not this easy !!!the next contest will be a little tougher....surprised no one thought of a Mercury Lynx....

The judges have reached a decision....WE HAVE A WINNER .....WildCat....just need to know if you want a Viper or Prowler ornament.....would be a long winter wait for Viper keys(they are all in bubbles), and you know you are welcome to one anyway.....ps....If I remember right, the Camaro is a 67/68....both years had vent windows....69 was the first year GM deleted them....think I have your mailing address....will ship as soon as I find out which you want....larry

I'm not a chevy guy but the only year Camaro with vent window was a 1967.........1968 went with the astro ventilation in the Camaro....plus I have 2 car guy buddies with `67 and they told me the vent window was only `67 model.......prove me wrong some bow tie lover.

What I want to know is why we know this stuff?

I had just read about the Safari in a recent magazine including a picture.

The `55 Chevy was discussed with fellow Prowler lover at Dream cruise a few years ago.

The only one that I had no idea on was the plate on Milners car

Okay...I admit defeat on the vent window issue....I had a new '68 GTO conv.(vent) and a new '69 Chevelle conv.(no vent)....I just figured the Camaro followed the ranks of the other Chevys....
