Of the production/pilot cars... here is a graph that shows what percent of Prowlers are more rare than yours: |

Great graph... Two observations: I have seen a photo on here of a white Prowler and I don't see it listed on the graph. The other would be to do a breakdown like this but go one step further, by listing Plymount and Chrysler Prowlers by year and color... |

The white car is not a pilot or a production... it is a prototype, and not for sale. Also, I don't think the white car was originally white, but I don't remember the original color. I don't know how to tell the difference between pilots and productions... You would probably have to consult Conner Ave. Assembly Plant to find out or find another member who has already found out. You can make a good guess by comparing the VIN number with other VIN numbers in the owner's registry . |

How about a graph with the make, Plymouth and Chrysler, added to the mix? ------------------ |

Damon - you obviously did not help out with cooking Thanksgiving Dinner - you have WAY too much time on your hands. I am happy to learn that my 2000 Black is much more rare than ED's 99 Red! |

AC - that looks different than the white one I have seen before. The latest picture I saw of the white clearly showed a white background on the headlights, not chrome. Or is that just the angle in your pics that makes it look chrome? ------------------ |

How about overall for the color. Although the 2002 inca gold is rated higher than a single year of the yellow, overall there were less models produced and only in a single year with the only option available. This message has been edited by dbudner on 11-30-2003 at 11:14 AM |

Mickey - this is Jerry Scholten's (DC's R&D) cat. Yes, he later did some headlite changes, but this is the white cat known as "Iscream". And fast! Or was? Supposed to be crushed someday ??? |

Here are some never-before-published pics of the white prototype "iscream" prowler, driven by DC Engineer Jerry Scholten. Yes, it will be crushed - like all prototypes - but I don't know when. click on thumbnails to see larger images... |

Damon - I hope you, Rodger and the whole "Dude" family had an enjoyable Thanksgiving. I know you have been busy with Prowler things, especially the calendar. I was checking to see who was online earlier and saw three "guests" (maybe the same one seperate times) were viewing your Louisville CD posts. ------------------ |

The white car was originally yellow. It was also orange at one time. |

Marty, I just found out mine is a 2000 Red, much rarer. Besides that mine is rare since it is still totally stock (except, well you know the rest of the story). |

Speaking of the White Prowler and rarity, what car is that on the last page of the calendar, in Jay's shimmer ad page. It looks like a black over white but it could be a Black Tie that looks faded due to the exposure of the camera. Anyone know the answer? |

Mine is as rare as it can be. Its the only 156th Prowler made. Not only that, but its the only 156th purple Prowler and the only 156th 1997 Prowler, all rolled up in one fantastic car. Wouldn't painting the yellow one orange, and then white, make it worth alot less than leaving it original? And when it gets crushed, will it still be white, or will its true color(s) be revealed? I say we all paint our cars white so they wont know which one to crush. Ya'll in this with me? ------------------ |

Damon - Yes,,,,I found Ed's stock red '99 cat listed there, but it was hard to see. Almost as hard to see as the one hair he still has on the top of his head! He said it was red and stock also! |
