The news media covered the show well, as it was for the Santa Pal Charity. The Photographer for the Temple Newspaper was taking shots of many of the cars, but kept stopping by the Prowler and taking more pictures. He told me he was interested in how people were really stopping and asking questions about the Prowler, when they just looked at the other cars. He told me to watch the Sunday paper, and asked some questions himself.

When I found a Temple Newspaper Sunday morning, there it was on the front page, a large picture of the front of the Prowler, with a caption describing it and the show. Good press for the Prowler, the Temple Newspaper covers a wide area of Central Texas between Austin and Dallas!

Glad to see that your going to try to make it back for the 2004 event!

Thanks all - I wish I could post a clear picture of what he had in the paper. It was a great shot looking at the car straight on with the hood up, and in the opening between the engine compartment and the hood edge at the windshield, you could see my "Prowler" banner hanging on my canopy in the background. Really a cool shot! I'm going to try to contact the photographer and see if I can get any of the pics he took!
