I just dropped the Prowler off at the paint shop. Owner is personally going to do the complete job. This was completely his decision , not a request from me. He says the Prowler has one of the better factory paint jobs. With that said however, when I get it back it will be MUCH BETTER. He says it will look a mile deep and smooth as glass. He is even going to re-clear the deck. Linda and I also get to watch and supervise the new flame job from start to finish. He has all colors of pearl in stock and whatever color we want will be mixed up on the spot. The car will be painted, cleared, Scotch brighted, air brushed flamed and then cleared at least two more times. I plan to take allot of pictures of the flames being done. He says it will be three weeks but I won't be surprised if it takes longer. But three weeks without the Kat I will be a wreck.

Rich - Three weeks is nothin' My car was with the painter for 4 months and it still isn't finished. New doors and probably another 3 weeks finishing the paint. Just remember that your painter is an artist.

I'm sure it's in good hands. Be patient, something I am still learning.

Good luck Rich! I know what it's like to be katless - 6 weeks for me. Good to know you are able to view the progress - something my "artist" would not allow me to do. Sounds like you'll have a real show stopper!
