Ummmmm..... I wouldn't personally go with a scissor style lift... Kinda makes working/detailing underneath the car difficult.... I would go with the ss7000 though for $1995..

Stay with the four post lift, Steve T said he wouild try to check out Teamlift in Texas sometime this week. Depending on what he thinks about the lifts that could be your best deal. I've owned a www.backyardbuddy.com for over five years now, it cost more but it's been great having it, you not only want to look at the lift but the company selling it also.JMO |

I was in Joshua/Cleburne, TX area yesterday and stopped at the Teamlift factory as requested. First, I was lucky to find the place, it is on a side road between Joshua and Cleburne. The area is an industrial zone with several large metal work buildings, tall grass that has not been cut in weeks (months?), and a lot of scrap material haphazardly littering the area. No one was at the property. The main gate was closed and chained so I could not gain access to the manufacturing area. Sorry for the incomplete report. I don't think Teamlift is prepared for visitors. You probably will need to judge the company from product owner experiences. Hope this helps. ------------------ |

I had called on a Saturday before (not yesterday) and had got a woman that had stated the phones had been transferred to her as the owner of the Cleburne location was out as it was a Jewish holiday. Maybe the gentleman doesn't work Saturdays because of his religion. In addition, she stated she was the actual manufacturer and the this gentleman was her largest distributor. I had had asked what it would take to be a distributor. Her response was a minimum purchase of five units at $1,700 per. She indicated this gentleman does over 100 units per month therefore he is getting a great price which must be how he is able to sell them at such a discounted price. |

The unit I had delivered today is a 10,000 lb. BEND-PAK this is a two post unit with extra truck lifts. the number is 1-800-933-9970 it's made in calf.I dealt with a broker in Mich. I do have his number if intersted. We feel it would be an advantage to the city to have a heavy duty lift I did looked at other's but felt they weren't built as well. (this is a heavy unit)were going to get it ready for the Mich cruise next Sept. everyone that goes can stop by and change there oil.just watch out for speed traps and trick parking meters' |
