Well the South Texas group took the Blue Ribbon, First Place in the Hallettsville Kolache Fest Parade! After the Parade we then took on their Car Show, 105 entries but it seemed to be more Classic cars then not. We got to listen to some good Polka bands and eat good food so all was not lost there. How embarassing... I changed shorts at the last minute and forgot to get my wallet out of my other shorts before heading out for the day. I got to the car show and reached for my wallet to pay the entry fee when I realized I had no money. Thanks to Jim and Laraine for sponsoring a loan to get me in. They even gave me some money for food and drinks. How nice is that?! Great people they are. They were even hero's for a lost little girl at the show later in the day, reuniting her with her mother. Glad you all had a good time. Prowlers did great in the Bastrop Area Cruisers Car Show. I won a First Place Trophy for Muscle Car - Open, and a silver Prowler out of San Antonio won Second! ------------------ |
