Bout darn time, I know! The Niagara Falls Cruise video is done and ready to go, I will pick up the 1st run this afternoon. The cars, the faces, the places all look terrific. June seems like a long time ago but it sure is fun to look back and remember 50 + cars and a great Prowler gathering.
Videos are $45. I will also be leaving for the Smokies Sunday, and will be in Auburn next weekend, and will be glad to hand deliver. Let me know if you want to pick up there and I'll reserve one for you. If I missed anyone, or if anyone else would like one, email or pm me for the particulars. |

Great Wayne, I will have one for you. I have never tried putting anything this large on CD, runs almost 30 minutes. Would you email stuff I need to know to do it, format etc, and I'll see what I can do. I hope to be able to do DVD in the future..wish the industry would decide on THE format |

quote: I have some software that is supposed to enable the transfer of VHS to DVD. Its called neoDVD 3.0 standard by mediostream (www.mediostream.com). There is a key # on the cd that would be needed to use it. System requirements are as follows. Video Capture:700 MHz Intel Celeron or AMD Athlon processor or better (1.1 GHz recommended), IEEE-1394 FireWire card or analog capture card. Authoring: 560 MHz Intel Celeron or AMD Anthlon processor or better (1.1 GHz required for real-time performance), Windows 98 SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000, or Windows XP, APG graphic card with 8MB of memory, 5GB hard drive, 128MB ram, DirectX 8.0 or above, Windows Media Player 7.1 or above. Most computers these days will already have all this. The DirectX and Media Player can be downloaded online for free I believe. I tried putting a movie once that I downloaded online on a CD and there was not enought room. I would have needed to use DVD cd's, but don't have any and am not REAL sure if my cd burner can burn to that media. Maybe someone else would know on that. I have never used it yet but want to someday or I would send you my original. *Reading carefully here...* I read something once about ancient natives and how they would share their wares. Historically speaking of course, ancient natives would sometimes make a copy of certain products they had, and distribute them along with the needed information to others. Sometimes, when these ancient natives were friends, this would be done only for the cost of the special tree bark used in making their products, sometimes they would add the cost of buying a donkey to ship it on when long distances were involved. Sometimes these ancient natives would even be notified of their desire to have such products by many other ancient natives. They used a variety of means to do this. Sometimes this was accomplished by banging drums in a certain fashion, sometimes by sending up smoke signals. It is not known just how, but they always managed to keep these transactions private. They did this to keep other ancient natives in the area from getting restless. It was quite an interesting read. ------------------ Mickey 1997 Plymouth Prowler #156 Custom car cover Mopar front splash guards Real Rod stainless steel transmission cooler cover Mopar Trailer hitch and harness Real Rod weekender 1992 Plymouth Grand Voyager SE Longhorn scratches Boomerschlobber This message has been edited by idive on 08-22-2003 at 05:04 PM |

Ed - that would be a butt on a butte! Steve Faint is probably the only POA person to expose it all at a event. Next to Superman, Steve is the only guy I know who has steel balls. |
