Hello Prowler owners. This past May, my wife and I ran off and were married in a drive-through service in a rented Prowler. Great car, and one that I will always have ties to for obvious reasons. Our families are throwing a little party for us, and I was thinking that it would be great to have Matchbox-sized Prowlers for favors or maybe a larger model for centerpieces. I have been having a difficult time locating anything suitable. We were married in a silver car, that color is preferred - but anything would be suitable at this point. Thanks for any help, -Justin |

Congratulations Justin, an we all wish you well. There is a 1/18 Scale die cast Prowler available at some of the toy stores. Try ToysRUs and KB Toys. I have actually seen a silver one. Good luck on your search. Jim ------------------ |

You wouldn't happen to know the manufacturer, would you? I have been through the local toy stores and found a large die-cast that looked like a Prowler with a Corvette rear end grafted on. Thanks. -Justin |

Congrats and welcome to the POA 1/18 silver Prowler is made by Anson. Maisto makes a 1/24 silver but they are hard to find. The silver trailer pack with a PT pulling a Prowler might be easier to find. Also 1/24. Try Wal Mart. Racing Champions did a 1/64 Prowler in Silver in the Concept and Muscle series. ------------------ This message has been edited by BeWare on 08-06-2003 at 09:41 PM |

It might be either Ertle or Mastio. Not certain. Also another source would be Die cast dealers at any large car show in your area, or possibly on the internet. Hope this helps. Jim: ------------------ |

Justin, the car you are seeing is called a HOWLER. That was a concept car. It was never produced by Daimler Chrysler. Ed, Anson made the 1/18 production version Prowler in Red , Silver, Black, Purple and Yellow. I saw a Red one at Hobby Town just last Sunday, but it was over priced at $30 plus. This message has been edited by BeWare on 08-06-2003 at 10:13 PM |

Justin, it looks like the group has you covered on the large scale car. If your still looking for smaller matchbox sized, you might find some help here too. Lots of folks recently purchased case lots of them for givaways. I am not sure what is still available or how many you might need. Congratulation on the marriage. I cannot think of a better car to use! Gordon |

I don't know if this would work for you, but these are still readily available. I found several more just the other day!! They can be found in the toy depts. at Walmart, Meijer (if you have those), Target and Kmarts. They might even call you a "rogue" for running off and getting married!! Congratulations, by the way!! |
