Ya know, with the large number of Texas owners we have, I half way expected every other car on the Dallas/Ft. Worth, San Antonio and Houston freeways to be Prowlers. But that wasnt the case. However, my family did get to see a few Kats in Texas that werent in a zoo. In Dallas, we were able to sit in with a hastily convened meeting of the Dallas members due to our last minute schedule changes. TFischer & KFischer, were good enough to gather up some board members for supper. It was a great time getting to put screen names to faces. Thanks for all that attended and hope to meet some of the others at future events. In Houston, again we had a great time. Mike showed me around the museum while Judy was nice enough to entertain my wife, son and daughter with some non-car related activities around the museum. It was certainly great to see all the collection items. You can see pics from the trip in this scrapbook. Its really awesome when you think about it that we have friends all over the world. We just havent met them all yet. Its really cool to know that you can find someone through the POA site just about any place that you go. Looks like you all had a great time. This is one of the greatest things about our group.....those last minute get-togethers provide the best times. It is great to know you have friends where ever you might travel. |

Whealy, As you may know AC is touring America - read that as crusin' where there is BOTH beer and Kat owners. I've had similar experiences myself meeting some of the T-Kats (Texas Kat owners). Leon and Janet are quite a pair, Mike and Judy have been blessed. CNote and Christy have eluded me so far - is there something you don't know? Have fun and see you in the Smokies |

whealyBars - Did you check your cat for missing parts when leaving? That Dallas/FtWorth group is a rough crowd. Its great traveling this big country and having POA friends in nearly every state (and Canada),,,,,,excluding Alaska and Montana. Once again, I'd like to thank Marc S., Chromer and Jack, Jordan, and Phil and Linda for having Lethia and I for dinner during our vacation stop in beautiful Denver, Co. POA people are a cut above! ------------------ 26,000 miles of smiles

Whealy & Christy, Glad to see you had a safe trip back.... Mike and I thoroughly enjoyed your family's visit as well, .....your children are wonderful and I had as much fun as they did .......Molly especially was sad to see ya'll leave!! Your all welcome any time! Today we had a wonderful visit from Jack and Suzie Meredith from Wyoming. They had Suzie's Black Tie over at RSI for a few days to get a Paxton supercharger installed! They're not hooked up to a computer, but after seeing some of the site, we won't be surprised to see them hook up soon.

I finally checked the miles this morning. We drove just under 3000 miles on our trip to Dallas/Ft. Worth, San Antonio and Houston. We had our children along so no Kat included. Still, we had a great time. Of course we did deal with Claudette while we were in Texas. Last year when we went to Colorado, they had drought and wild fires. The year before we went to Florida and they had wild fires. Does anyone else see a pattern here? We will be accepting payments from any state that would prefer that we not visit them next year! :D |
