I have a Black Tie #124 listed in the POA free ads and on AutoTrader.com. I have it listed at $38900. I think that is a good price, but you guys would know better than me. It's still under warranty and it has less that 4000 miles. Please advise if the price is right. |

Depends on how quickly you wish to sell. I read about a new 2002 that sold recenly for 44K. 32 - 35K seems reasonable at the present time |

Thanks for your help. I'm in the car more than that. It's so hard to get a Prowler on trade as it is, being a Black Tie, I went the extra mile to get it. I guess I'll puy it on eBay tomorrow or I might just keep it for an investment. I don't think it will go down in price. I have noticed that over the last two months Prowlers have been going though the dealer auctions for about two thousand more than they were being. |

Hey Paul, In Feb when I was looking for a new Black Tie, there were only 2 new ones in the US for sale according to the list CJ had. Both dealers wanted sticker- 45K -for the cars. There are no new ones left, only used, and you know they were only made in a small quantity... EBya will not bring you what you need on this car. advertise auto trader or the like. And you are right ...they are starting to creep up now that all the new ones are almost gone. 37K 38K it should go- for someone who is looking for a B/T. Best Regards Mike DQ |

I just bought a Black Tie in February with 2900 miles from a private party for $38,000. I saw your ad and did not think your price was out of line, but then again since I just paid $38,000 for one, I would tend to agree. So unless you are in a hurry to sell it, I would say you should hold the price. Anyone who really wants an original Black Tie, as I did, will probably be willing to pay the few extra thousand above all of the other more plentiful color vehicles that are currently for sale. |

Well I decided to leave it up to the car gods. I put it on eBay. |

I'm confused....MSRP on my Black Tie was $47K. The Black Tie and Woodwards were $2K more for the two-tone and pinstripe(?). That's how I remember it being broken down on the sticker if I remember right. Am I remembering it wrong? Anyway, I ended up getting it for $42K last year. |

About 5-6 months ago there was a brand new Black-Tie listed on eBay with 9 miles on the OD and a "NO RESERVE" price of $35K. The dealer listed it 3 times and got no bids. I'm not sure it's going to bring any more money then a solid color prowler as most folks don't know what a Black-Tie is. You can say it's rare and only 153 were made but, look at most prowler sales on eBay, they all say something like that. Even if it was the most produced color. |

Well I guess it's worth at least $35900. It just hit the reserve price on ebay. |
