All Woodwards were started with a black tub. The engine compartment is black, the door jambs are black, the trunk is black, the hood top and bottom is black, the trunk lid top and bottom is black, and the two side view mirrors are black. The grill is red as are all the side and back panels. The doors are red on both sides with only the upper portion of the outer doors painted black. Mike |

Black ties were Silver cars, silver tub... black trunk added, black hood added, black mirrors and painted door. Silver stripe hand painted by Dr Ru. All 2001s had the series # in the pinstripe, only the 5 -2000 Black tie pilots were not numbered, and the POA has the vin # on those 5 cars so they cant be counterfitted. I have one of the five Black Tie pilots and my engine fire wall is white. The car was used by Chrysler for auto shows. I am very curious as to why they they painted the fire wall white when it started out as silver. |
