Actually, "High Voltage blue is ther rarest, then a 2001 Black-Chrysler, then Woodward next, Black tie, etc." So for that lucky 2001 BLACK- CHRYSLER - you are just as rare(but less costly) as the HVB. |

High Voltage Blue = 1 Tom Gale's Black Chrysler Prowler = 1 From there, Candy Red is actually the next rarest color. The reason being is that the Candy Red was a complete color change unlike the Woodward (which were born reds) and Black Tie (which were born silvers) |

I just got caught up bidding on a Candy last October on Ebay one night. I was surprised how low they were for a 2002. I wanted a newer one and before i knew it. (I'm a Competive person)I was High Bidder and Reserve was met!!!Oh Sh-T! Now what? Next day i was a New Prowler owner, Candy Red # 61. Went to Eloan and in 20 minutes had a loan and next day expressed out a check. Done--Few days later it showed up on a Truck from Pittsburg. Never thought about buying one at the time, funny how things happen in life. I wanted one when i saw a yellow at a area dealer, years ago. Have a Happy 4th!!! ------------------ |

quote: Rare is a relative term. When compared to the Hi-Voltage or Black-tie or woodward, 1291 is not all that rare for total production over a 6 year period. Compared to just about any other car from any other production builder though, only 1291 of anything in 6 years is EXTREMELY rare..... It's the glass half full/half empty thin. I personally consider all the colors rare. |

Mene Gene, Black is still a very common color, CT is asking for the rarest color, not the rarest Prowler ! soooooooo I think HVB, Woodward, Blk Tie, Candy is the order. With your way of thinking, where would you put my 2000 Blacktie? After Tom Gales? Only made 5 in 2000! By the way did you get the panel? CJ nice try but NOOOOOOOO! Regards Mike This message has been edited by thedqman on 07-04-2003 at 07:30 PM |

quote: If you re-read my post.... If you are going by color (complete color changes as designated by DC - not me), Candy Red has the lowest number. Again, Woodwards were red Prowlers that were changed by adding a black hood and deck lid and given a new name.........same with Black Ties........they were NOT a complete color change. |

I'm on ebay quite a bit. Checking things out! When someone says rare color and it happens to be a Mulholland, i thought that they made quite a few compared to other colors. Thats all I was inquiring about. If there are only 151 black ties well its harder to find one then a black if they made 1912 of them. Thats my point. Maybe we should use the term Most popular colors. ------------------ |

ATTENTION: It is now time for my 2 cents...It seems that all agree that the hight voltage blue and the blck Chrysler of which there were only one each of are the lowest. This is even thought 1911 blck Ply..were produced. I am than happy to say that: " MY 2002 SILVER CHRYSLER OF WHICK ONLY 204 WE MFG. IS THAN IN THE NEXT LOWEST PRODUCED......TRUE?????? |

Oh boy...I sure hate to disagree with CJ; but, I do not see how Woodwards could be considered to be "red Prowlers that were changed by adding a black hood and deck lid and given a new name". All Woodwards were started with a black tub, so aren't they more accurately described as black Prowlers with changed side panels . Mike |
