Was it an even trade? Or did you get cash back from the deal? I guess with these hard times, people have to do what they got to do to get by. Hold your head up, I am sure one day you will be able to get another Prowler.

You will definately love the Viper........ the cars(Vipoers and Prowlers) are very different in many ways, not just in horsepower....main thing is to be very careful....Vipers can be very unforgiving if pushed over the edge....sounds like overkill maybe...but a good high performance driving school is highly recomended....in one of our last Viper Club meetings(join the VCA as soon as possible)it was mentioned that nearly 40% of all Vipers are involved in an accident....they are not rain friendly, nor do they like cold pavement....under full acceleration, make sure you are pointed straight.....not trying to scare you by any means, but respect this car like you have never done before....they are basically a very dependable fun car...lots of smiles...over 20 mpg on the road....decent trunk...a little awkward to drive at first due to the offset pedals....just take it easy the first few outings and wear your belts!!!!! Have a great summer

He traded it in. That was wholesale value (or wholesale plus whatever they took off the viper)

Larry - good advice. Anyone who has been behind the wheel of one of these beasts would concur. I must say the 03 handles much better and is easier to keep on the black stuff.

YF - I didn't realize that when I posted. Even still that seems like a low price - perhaps the book value doesn't differentiate a Woodward from other Prowlers - whether it should or not is a matter of opinion.

That's too bad for two reasons: No more kat; and I'm gonna be in Little Silver for Mother's Day. Thought we might do a kat mini-cruise.
