With the snow melting fast and temps approaching 70, it's time for us northerners to start thinking about bringing our Kats out of hibernation. This is my first Spring, so please bear with me.

The car was washed and waxed. Oil change with Mobil One 5 W 30, full tank of fuel with Sta-Bul added. Battery tender installed. Top up but not latched (neither the front nor the rear). Tires inflated to 44 psi. Mopar cover. Car Jacket with desicant (in containers) liberally spread throughout.

Now: Your advice on the best way to wake the kitty and get her set of another GREAT season of Prowling!

Thanks for your input...

Kevin

Do what you do with kids that don't want to get up. Tear the covers off and put a heavy foot to her.

Just got mine out today (73 degrees)

It sounds like there's very little you need to do, latch the top, inflate or deflate the tire pressure, start it up and bring the engine up to temp and your good to go.

I would suggest driving it gently for the first 5 miles. Mine was very sluggish at first. It is supposed to be 70 here tomorrow but there is still too much junk on the roads. But I have had the mororcycle out quite a bit the past 10 days. We are supposed to get a lot of rain Tue/Wed/Thur so next week-end should be good to go. Can't wait.

Had mine out for the 1st time since November. no problems, aired up the tires, let warm up and off to Frosty Boy for some ice cream

seen a guy driving his Mulholland (I was in my truck) and gave him my card with POA website

and at FB a lady came up and said she liked the car and her brother has 3, so she got a card too

Burnzy - Don't get into any hurry,,,its raining in Az now,,,so more snow coming your way. Probably will be May 20th before you get the cat out, lol. To wake her up:

1. remove car cover
2. kick the cat in the butt
3. put key into ignition switch, push forward
4. select gear position
5. crank up CD tunes
6. head out on the highway
7. ENJOY THE RIDE

I know I'm being optimistic. But it's fun to dream.

DISCLAIMER: My sincere apologies to the POA community for the following statement:

I agree with you, AC.

It probably will be sometime in May.

Today was an absolutely perfect day. Lots of hot rods, convertibles and motorcycles out today. Supposed to be 72 tomorrow. O Yeah. Life is good again.

It was in the high 60's over the weekend and supposed to be today, but we still have a LOT of salt on the roads. All the snow is melting and it's quite a mess, with cars driving through the puddles and spraying water everywhere! It's also supposed to rain for the next three days.......which is good to wash the salt away. Still not good enough to get the cats out yet.......getting close, though. When we do, will check all the fluid levels, battery, air in the tires and off I go!
