Our good friend Joe Powell is not doing well. The brain operation went well, but the big C in his lungs can not be operated on. The Doctors give him less than 12mo. He will need long term care. His family is moving him tuesday to N.C. He always ask about his Prowler friends. He will need our prayers in the months to come. |

Danny I know you passed on my thoughts and wishes to Joe when you last seen him. Getting that call from you last week was hard to hear what they had to say about his chances for a recovery. Being all to familiar and up close with the big "C", I have come away with this notion, the doctor's really don't know. I have seen a fair amount of people that only had 3-6 months (or less) still leading active lives 5-10 years later. I have also come away with the idea that the patient can control that to some extent with a strong conviction and will. Our prayers are with them. |
