Hey, I just got a virus attachment from this email: boblongstreth@comcast.net. Don't know who this is, but the name sounds familar. This is the only site I use, so I would say that it came from one of the users here. Kid Rock This message has been edited by Kid Rock on 03-02-2003 at 06:47 PM |

Our computers are not infected by any viruses. We have been getting emails from all sort of Prowler owners that we know have not actually been sending us anything. We certainly did not send you any emails. Bob and CJ Longstreth |

Hi CJ Someone is using your e-mail address to send virus to others. We talked a little about this during our Tech Talk on the Cruise this past week. We seem to have people looking at our site and using it as a place to get info and send out unwanted e-mails. Site Admin. please add your comments |

That's me. All of my incoming and outgoing mail is scanned by Norton Antivirus 2002 which is updated weekly. These virus's come from someone's computer that is infected and the virus draws random e-mail addresses from that computer's address book. Makes the incoming note appear legitimate. Sorry, someone is using my name in vain. Bob Longstreth |

I understand that these virus impersonate senders addresses. I will send it to my tech guy and maybe he can trace it. Thanks Kid Rock |

Actully the Viruses aren't coming from here, there is no way, they are coming from email addresses from people who use this site or their email address is in someone address book which is infected ... |

I get a dozen of them every week,,,,they are easy to spot, either no text or stupid text, and a download attached. If it makes no sense,,,,,delete it. |

I am receiving up to 15 virus warnings per day claiming that I am sending a virus. Ain't so, folks. I think this is coming from anyone and everyone's computer that is not virus protected. It's absolutely rampant and it's coming from every possible direction. |
