I got my rocker spears and door panels today and installed them without a hitch.

I was really concerned about the color (ask Bob, LOL!) but, when I held everything up to the car, it matched PERFECTLY.

I guess by now, most of you know that I am highly critical of just about anything. I guess it's the prefectionist in me (or my Nazi heritage, LOL!)

Anyway, when I say I'm satisfied (not that often) you know it's a good deal!

Thanks Bob, the parts look great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Norm,

The are spear shaped and about 5 1/2 feet long and about 1 1/2 inches wide towards the center and fit on the rocker panel of both sides of the car just below where it starts to curve under.

I saw them on the TGF site but, was unable to order them due to the transition thta was about to take place a couple of months later.

They are very tasteful and look awesome on the car.

Oddly enough, I don't have a digital camera right now but, plan to get one in the next few days and will post pics then.

Duane, I live down towards Galveston on the back bays.

The spears I have seen on Kats are same color as body side. Since I have a Black Tie, what do all of you think about black spears for contrast?

May I suggest an idea, it may be stupid but here goes. You could run some black electrical tape along the bottom of the car. Al least you will be able to see the contrast.

Bob, I like the look and it looks like it would help protect against a door ding. What's the price and availability for silver?

1. I do not think they can be chromed
2. To low for door dings
3. After doing the first set for Trey I need $360 a set painted.
4. Have 2 unpainted sets in stock, give me a call.

They are applied down too low to do any good for door dings and you can't move them up onto the door because they are too long (I guess you could cut them in half but, IMO it would look wrong)

They look awesome where they are and add a different look to the sides of the car.

Here is an idea that might work for a door protector though. If anyone has a C5 with it's door protectors, measure them. If they would fit on a Prowler, this might do the trick (of course, you'd need to paint them)
