Larry Mayes was the first one I ever saw using a California water blade. For those of you who have never seen one, it is basically a squeegee made from surgery type rubber that is extremele soft and you can safely use it on the car including the windows. It does not get every drop of water off of the car, but it gets at least 90 of the water off of it. You can finish up with one towel. I know some use a leaf blower but when you are on vacation it is not usually real handy to carry a leaf blower. The best tip ever for the Prowler has to be the ceramic brake pads on the front ONLY, though. I know most of this is old stuff, but there are new people on board. |

To watch for people driving by that accidently begin to merge into your path. They don't mean to, but it happens. Was given this info by Dan here in OKC before I even bought my Kat. Has probably saved me an accident MORE than a few times. ------------------ |

I 'sell' at least one water blade about every time I go to the car wash. I watched a father and son toiling over their windows on their mini van... walked over and asked if they wanted to use my blade (I was finished except for toweling off the wheels). Makes short work of those big windows on vans! Great little tool! Mike |

ALWAYS double check the rear deck lid, by giving it a good pull, to make sure it is securely closed - BEFORE driving off! (especially if you're attending a prowler event where alcohol is served) |

Mine would be that ALL Prowler roof leak, don't get excited about it. Get mud flaps and ceramice break pads installed And last is to get to some of the events as you meet some of the niciest people and some become lifetime friends. Thanks John & Sharon (FIXUMM) |

Chromer....3 rivets? Where was the third? I only had 2 on top of the tailpiece. Or are you leg pulling? Prowler: Yay! Someone actually got some use out of my tip! I have also mastered backing up within inches of the curb by visually lining up the the curb with the back bottom corner of the driver side window. as soon as the curb meets that back corner, I am set. |
