Check this out on eBay. Its a permanent bra; sprayed on Rhino coat. Has anyone else done this. I don't have a trailer, but looks cool. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10368&item=1875241955 ------------------ |

At SEMA this year one of the products I was looking at was spray in liners, some important things when looking at this product is the way it is applied, it can be sprayed Cold, Warm or Hot. Hot is the best and most expensive, it bonds to anything. Also they can COLOR match any of these to the paint on your car or truck for just a few bucks more. |

Not sure about the newer products but this stuff faded bad when exposed to the sun..I've seen look like body color new and in 2 years look like primer. I have rhino liner in my truck and with camper shell the only area faded is where the sun hits it pretty good. How will that look in 2 years? They have a product for rock gaurd that sprays on and can be painted, but then you will end up with marks in it too. My 2 cents ------------------ |

well I think it wouldn't be too bad if it was color matched.. it sure is a lot easier than taking the bra off to wash the tailer or have to take off the bra on the road if you hit rain.. ------------------ davidn |

If you like the look of the Rhino linings sprayed on, would you do the front end of your car also? As far as taking the bra off after it gets wet, my question is why? I think of the bra a s a permanent part of my trailer. I will never pull the trailer without it, so why worry about the paint fading or getting cloudy under it. BTW - We have put over 12,000 miles on the trialer this year through all kinds of weather and when I checked the paint under the bra, all was just fine. I will keep the bra! |

I was very concerned about the paint on my trailer when i put the bra on it. It is no big deal to remove or install. I have pulled it in the rain and not removed until I get home and can remove to wash the trailer without a problem. They do say to remove and not let it dry on the paint. I think the BIG thing is to make sure there is no GRIT under the bra. With probably 10,000 miles on the trailer with the CUSTOM paint I have no marks from the bra. My 2 cents |

A bra is to protect your paint. If you do this you don't protect the paint you CHANGED it. It's now black rino not paint. Instead of doing this just pull the trailer enjoy the color and repaint it when it gets to bad. At least its the color of the car this way. JMO ------------------ |
