So I’ve spent a little time searching the site. I know that this question was just asked again about a month ago. So the odds of a solution being available are pretty slim. But I’ve been “stressin” over the comments made on roll-overs. Something about a 7 and 5 year old that sometime ride with me. So if anyone knows of ANY options, I’d appreciate your comments.

As always, thanks in advance for you help.

I don't know of rollbars available, but I know if you drive with a mellow attitude your chances of a rollover are very slim.

I have also seen small children sit in the passenger seat, and their head doesn't even come up to the door sill! That is like a built-in roll bar IMO.

My best info from a couple of local race shops is that to do a roll bar that would actually meet sanctioning body specs and provide true rollover protection comes with a pretty high price - you lose the passenger seat for the cross-members. Nobody I talked to thought that just a straight "hoop style" roll bar would provide any real protection.

Black Tie makes a good observation.
My 10 year old boy and 5 year old girl ride with me often.
My boy can barely see out and my girl has to use a special car/booster to see.
A 6'5" guy like me might have a problem, but I think the little ones would be OK.

As for the kids, mine ride with a car seat. That puts them up to regular height.

As for the rollbar, I took a little time to look closer at the cat this morning. It would seem to me that I could connect to the frame at four points. Two of which would be through the “panel’ just to the outside of either seat. The other two would be through the “speaker box”. I’d like to know from some folks that have had their cats apart in these areas if it’s possible. I know it’s a long shot but it would seem to me that a four point connection through the highest part of the rear of the top might work.
