Just where do the two of you live who see so many? I've not seen 10 on the road, EVER and I'm in Los Angeles (exceptions of Prowler runs) ------------------ |

I'm in Michigan, north metro Detroit area and I would bet there is the highest concentration of Prowlers and Vipers here of anywhere in the country....but I see very few. nothing like a corvette, I see 10 of those a day. my commute is a little nontypical, as I head north every morning when the the other million are going towards detroit, but I only saw one prowler (yellow) all summer, other than woodward weekend. my wife is around Troy MI and sees about 1 a week (at least that she reports to me) Michigan in general is pretty thin on the exotics and convertibles....but detoit has so many motorheads there is a high concentration in a 50 mile radius of 'the motor city' -my two cents. |

I and the wife drive 40,000 miles a year in Oregon and we see approximately two Prowlers a day but the problem is, we own them both. Bill |

I don't think I have seen 5 on the road since I got mine 3 1/2 years ago. |

I see at least 2 a week and I live in Jacksonville, Florida. A lot of people seem to own them around here. |

I rarely see a Prowler on the road here in GA. But every time we have gone to Orlando we always see at least one Prowler during our visit. |

I've seen about one a month. Usually when I'm not in the Kat. Unfortunately though I'm pretty sure the one's I've seen are signed up on the POA since I haven't recognized the drivers. Tami |

quote: Yep, here in Orlando. I usually see at least one every month. My girlfriend and friends see them all the time here. Earlier this year for about a week, I was seeing a different one almost every day. Just yesterday, as we were leaving to go to Jacksonville to pick mine up, a gold one pulled into my neighborhood. I think there are at least two others in my neighborhood, a black and an orange (possibly now a gold). In comparison though, for every Prowler I see on the road, I still see many many more C5 Corvettes, S2000s, 350zs, Boxsters and Carreras, Audi TTs, Thunderbirds and Vipers. And sometimes there will be stretches were I see more Diablos and 360 Spyders than Prowlers. ------------------ • MTD Prowler Intake System 2.2 |

So how come with all those Prowler's we don't hear of great and wild Florida events with 100 Kats? |

I have only seen two since they started making them. My wife swears that she sees them weekly and I keep telling her to chase them down. She says, "What do I do if I catch one?" and I told her, "bring them home and leave them by the front door. Just like our cats do with mice". I might keep them if they clean wheels. |

I saw a yellow Prowler when I was on my way home from work Friday. I think the owner lives in Bryan, kind of unusual to see one on the road here though. It's funny, I was in my King Ranch, but I still spin my head around to look! ------------------ |

I live in a town of less than 20,000....but there are 13 Prowlers in town....it is not unusual to see several per day on nice days(3 of us at one stoplite a few weeks ago)...I drive mine all year, so it is a common sight in our town....I recently drove 2300 miles, thru the Carolinas, Smokies etc and saw 2 Kats...one in Pigeon Forge(Mullholland) and a Yellow w/trailer in the Smokies...just a few miles apart...didn't see any others on the entire trip... |

Larry, that was my point... with all those Prowler's down in FL, they should have gatherings in the hundreds... where are they? |

Todd, see my post in the events section under 12/14 Florida west coast cruise. Kind of depressing, but I'm still hopeful. |

That's what I was talking about last week also - where is everyone? I know that weather is becoming an issue in some parts this time of year, but with all the Prowlers in Texas, why don't I see but one on the road every six months or so? ------------------ |

I know that there are a great number of Prowlers in the Detroit/Metro area, but I don't know where they are keeping them, 'cause I don't see many on the road besides mine! |

I live in a small town in Northeast Arkansas pop. 7,600. There were 5 Prowlers here until last month one guy sold his. But I think I still live where there are more Prowlers per capita than anywhere in the world. Newport Arkansas Prowler capital of the world!!!! I think I will talk to the Mayor and get that slogan put on a sign at the edge of town. |
