Where's the best place to try and sell my Prowler?

To get the best price for your car, it's best to use a private party ad in the major newspaper in your area if you have the time. Be realistic on your price and it should sell soon.
If you need to get rid of it fast and cheap, ebay is the way to go.

If these are the rags they sell at the local 7/11, I think this car is too upscale and would be too pricey for most of the lookers. At least that is my experience with this area.

Honestly, I don't think eBay would be any worse then your own local paper plus, you will hit a far more reaching audience. eBay is pretty much on the mark for what the public is willing to pay for a discontinued car. The key is to have a very low starting price (say $100) but, a reserve price (whatever you want to ultimately sell it for). Also note on the auction that you have the right to pull the ad anytime someone gives you a price you will accept (from eBay or other source).

I'd be willing to bet you sell it quicker on eBay then in the local paper.

TMax: I agree with both Larrys. The local paper (Dallas Morning News) is always pretty good along with the Auto Trader. We have sold several specialty cars in the Auto Trader with no problems. Good luck - but hate to lose a DFW Prowler owner. Tami

Thank y'all for the response and ideas. Yes, it is a shame to have to part with it, but it's no longer a feasible vehicle for my family :-( Oh well, on to bigger things.

Hey Yellow -

I actually found mine on Trader Online. Several Dealerships list here, and I've seen some pretty good buys, and then some pretty high prices!

tmax - you may want to check that out.
