What speed option has NOT been tried in a Prowler yet? Some have nitrous, supercharged, turbocharged. What's left? |

At least one kat has had a Chevy V8 installed. Sevaral either have or will shortly have stroker motors. Don't believe motors are up to being bored much. A good special made cam would be nice. Also - finding way to get traditional tranny/rear end and still have computers operate would be something I would like to see. I think our transaxles are very ineffiecient in getting HP to the rear wheels and 3 useable gears before overdrive is not enough. To be able to upgrade stock 3.5 motors more, need better fuel delivery system. |

LOL....."JATO!" ("Jet Assisted Take Off" for those of you scratching your head.....) How about "The Flintstones" accellerator, where you cut a hole in the floor and run your feet on the road.. This message has been edited by Black Tie 161 on 10-31-2002 at 08:14 AM |

It's what the Unlimited Hydroplanes (Thunderboats) use. It's the same turbine engine designed for helicopters. It would give the Prowler a nice "whine" as it roars down the highway at about 250 MPH. I meant it with all the seriousness of Butchcee's JATO suggestion. |
