hey guys, what kinda mileage should i look for when lookin at buying a prowler? OBVIOUSLY the lowest possible is the answer, but i only want to spend around 30k or under and want to know what the HIGHEST mileage acceptable should be... 30k miles? 10k miles? 100k miles? its kind of a dumb question, but i see some with low miles and some with high selling for the same prices... thanks ps, it looks like ill be gettin a prowler before the end of the year! HOW EXCITING!!! ------------------ |

Over all, you are going to get a variety of thoughts on this one, but I would say that you can find something with about 8k-10k miles on it(year 99-00) in that price range. On a side note, Mine just flipped over 10,000 miles and I cried for 2 days… |

prowlerFreek: I think dmathieu is pretty close as long as you don't get hung up on a color like I did. I and my family JUST HAD to have a yellow one. I found several in your desired mileage and price range in colors other than yellow. I finally bit the bullet and purchased a 2002. I spent more than I planned on but I got want I wanted, I'm happy and that is what really counts! |

ONE BIG QUESTION, HOW MUCH DOES A NEW BLACK 2001 or 2002 Chrysler Prowler COST??? just average??? 40k ? under or over that??? I mean, hey, i would DEFINITELY love New over Used... but price is a factor in this, as is with most people i guess ------------------ This message has been edited by prowlerFreek on 10-24-2002 at 10:34 AM |

you can easily get a new one between 35-40 K, no problem. MSRP is 45K on most models. ------------------ |

Trey, a good lender only wants another 1/2 point for a used car. Check with credit unions, they give the best rates. |

quote: it is rate AND length of term. Typically lower and longer for new. Which means, me could be paying close to the same monthly payment for a used one as if he got a new one (that also has a full warranty) |
