CJ, Great photos from Cruisin' The Coast event. Looks like you favor the candy red cat over the black one. Your candy apple looks great! Few Questions: What type of chome exhuast do you have on your candy apple red cat? With all the louvers (sp) in your side panel, your cat doesn't over heat? Once in FL a few yrs back we remove the side panels from a Prowler on the track and the engine over heated.

CJ: Thanks for posting the pics of CTC. For those of us who were unable to attend these pics are a treat. Due to committments of a young active family, a growing business and civic obligations; attending events is going to be tough for me. These pics and posts let me stay connected. THANKS! I hope to attend the Cruising the Smokies event next August, since it will be the closest event to central NC in a while. |

Brian............I have the Mopar/Borla exhaust on the Candy Cat. Have never had a problem with overheating with either cat. I think I ran some pretty good times on the track at CTC for a stock car and I made 8 passes. Didn't have any overheating problems. Might be my imagination, but I think that the heat in the footwell inside the car was not as bad with the louvers allowing more of the heat to escape. Now wait just a minute... This is CJ, Miss-I'm-not-allowed-to-mod-my-Cat, that is cruising around in a candy red with painted bumpers, a chrome grill, and louvered side panel?!?!?! I'm stunned, but it looks great. Where did you get the chrome grill??? I'm dying for one of those for my Candy Red! Mike This message has been edited by jmcant1 on 10-24-2002 at 03:44 PM |

CJ, Who chromed the grill for you? That's what I want, the standard Prowler grill, only in chrome. That DC guy (sorry, forgot his name Ed) that had one on his orange this summer looked really nice. Mike |

Mike, that grill on Lou Stavale's car and the one on CJ's car were done at the same time by the same company. I don't know who or where, but Lou and Bob are friends and ex-co-workers. |

Mike, The company that makes the grille had it chromed for us. I don't know if they did it themselves or had it done. Lou got his from Bob. Bob and Lou worked together at the Cincinnati Zone office for Chrysler when we lived in Cincy. |
