We all know there are great discounts on Prowler's these days. What is the MOST you've seen one go for recently? New or used above what the market seems to be. (yes, we all know about the Hi-Voltage blue) I saw a new 2002 Yellow sold at $46K. A dealer is holding firm on his 2001 Orange for $45K |

There is a dealer about 30 miles north of here that is holding firm @ $41,860 for an 2002 Mulholland. He told me that he has had it on floor plan for 9 months, but that he will not go any lower. He had it at a show 2 weeks ago and advertised it for $42,500. He says he will keep it and garage it before he will sell it for less than his number. I told him politely "good luck", but that he might want to clean up the bay and get a cover! |

I wish everyone could keep there price up. Its a surpise to see the prices really going down, on a car that was selling, 5K, 10K, 15K, 20K, 25K over sticker. I still think they will go up when all the knew ones are gone, well I hope... |

quote: The Mulholland was a 2002? They made it for 2 years? It's a mystery to me why some colors sell so fast and others (equally as nice, to me anyway) languish at dealers. I pass another dealer on a drive of about 200 miles I make every other month or so. This is a little hick town and they have a mulholland in the showroom. They want $39K for it but, have had it for 10-11 months now with no takers. They are firm but, winter is setting in. IMO, dealers are the real reason for the demise of the prowler. Gouging prices of $5K-30K (or more) over sticker turned alot of people away (that probably never came back) and infuriated those that paid it (when the bottom dropped out). Either way, they lost repeat business and how many businesses can afford to keep doing that? |

I checked traderonline.com yesterday. The avg. asking price for the Prowler was better than 41K. There are quite a few listed there. |

YellowFever: It could well be a 2001. I understand it is new and on the dealer's lot so I ASSUMED it was an '02. |

YellowFever: The Mulholland was only made for the 2001 model year and was the first Chrysler branded vehicle. This message has been edited by CA Phil on 10-25-2002 at 08:50 AM |

This new 1999 Red sold for $40,500 this week on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1868352999 But technically the car didn't sell as the seller contacted me after the auction to let me know that the high bidder backed out and the car was available if I wanted it. ------------------ • MTD Prowler Intake System 2.2 This message has been edited by William Gallagher on 10-25-2002 at 09:55 AM |

Local dealer has 99 Black with 18,000 miles at "special" price of $42,900.00. The special runs out Nov. 1 so you better hurry if you want this one. The salesman there all but called me a liar when I told him about the new kats in mid 30's. Marty |

quote: That happens ALOT on eBay. People bid, win, then either want different paying options (then what you listed) or just flake and never send the payment. I think half the people bidding on stuff are kids just playing. I had a guy win my bid (not on a car), wanted to know how much to ship it to Canada, I told him, then he said his bank wouldn't give him a money order for $40 (????)
