Who is the most dedicated Prowler Owner?

This is a poll to see who does the most with their prowler(s). A special prowler prize will be awarded to the overall winner.

1) How many do you have (or owned)?

2) How often do you drive it yearly?

3) How many miles to you put on it yearly?

4) How often do you wash/wax it yearly?

5) How many mods have you done to it this year?

6) How many Prowler events have you been to this year?

7) How many parades or events has your car been in this year?

8) How many car shows have you entered it in this year?

9) Do you have personalized plates?

10) How much prowler memorabelia have you bought this year?

I will poll the results. Winner to get a special Prowler prize (provided enogh people enter). Since this is my idea, I am excluded from winning but, here are my answers.

1) I have owned 3. A 2000 silver, a very early Black-Tie (#005), and now a 2002 Yellow

2) I hardly drive them at all. Kind of a novelty car for me.

3) About 200-300 miles a year.

4) About once a month. Keep a car cover on it when not in use.

5) Only one, the MAC intake.

6) None.

7) None.

8) About 10. There is a very informal car show gathering every Friday night. Open to anyone. No prizes, just alot of fun.

9) No.

10) None.

I agree - there are many POA people that are dedicated.

Some own multiple cars, some attend many events, some plan events, others are always posting about Prowler items available and/or shopping for others.

Have fun reading and making your decision.

Lotta good posts. Winner to be picked Sunday Evening at 10 CST.

No one catagory can cinch it for anyone. In other words, just because someone might have 23 Prowlers, doesn't automatically make them the winner (unless the give 3 to me....You know who you are). Just kiddin, wouldn't throw the game for anything less then 5 Prowlers

Anyway, everyone here loves these cars so let's see who all does the most with/to/around them (basically eatting, sleeping, and thinking prowler).

Good Luck....

(1) I have owned 4, still have 3 of them. One of them was lemon lawed.
(2) If I don't have to drive one of my Van's, I'm driving a Prowler. The Lemon Law car (Orange) had almost 3000 miles on her. My Black 2000 has almost 20K on her (bought September 2000). The Chrysler Orange has 12K (recieved from Lemon Law roughly August 2001) and so does the Black Tie #135 (12K)(bought December 2000).
(3) see above
(4) as often as I can, I try to wash and detail them around every 3000 miles, but sometimes either there is not enough time, or, the weather is too hot for me to do this.
(5) All 3 have gotten the Mopar Exhaust, all 3 have gotten Tom Mills Front bumper / light kits, The Orange has gotten a Real Rod 1/2 rear pan, Chromed rear struts and an Eric Wolf Tranny cover, plus a TGF grill, which I chromed the screen. The Black Tie is in the shop to repair tire tread damage and paint both rear bumpers silver. I have a special black chrome set of shimmer's on order for this. I have also gotten a TGF kit for the black, but not installed this yet (the grill being used for the orange). Rear Struts are at the Chromer's for the Black Tie's rear end.
(6)Not sure how many events I have been to, most of the So Cal ones and one in Arizona. 2 or 3 of these I have put on myself.
(7) been at a few car shows with my buddy Dan Remington, but never entered. Never been in any parades.
(8) only entered in one show, because that was part of the POA event to register. Winning a plaque is not my main interest.
(9) no personalized plates yet, planning on it, but have not choosen what I want yet.
(10) nothing this year, the cars are more important to me anyhow the memorabilia.

What an interesting topic! By no means do I think I am the most dedicated prowler owner.....however, I love my car and as ridiculous as this sounds, my life revolves around it to a certain extent. Buying this car changed my life. In fact, last week one of the guys I work with asked what my life was like before I had my car.

1)I own only one.
2)I drive it daily (now that I live in AZ.)
3)Depends
4)Wash weekly....wax every couple of months.
5)pin stripe, Supertrapps exhaust
6)several
7)I don't do parades -
8)I don't pay to enter the car in shows any more....did the first 2 years I owned it (Goodguys & local Mopar club). However, I attend local show & shines every Friday and Saturday night.
9)yes - "Grinin"
10) one picture....I already have the phone & leather jacket plus misc. items (and am quite content with that.)

1 - One 2000 Silver, bought new in March 2002, didn't see it till July.
2 - Every day I can.
3 - Don't know about yearly but I have 1200 miles on it. (Hey, its a small island!)
4 - I wash and wax it about twice a month. Sometimes more.
5 - Mud flaps front and rear, butt prints in both seats, chipped paint from prior to mud flaps and the POA required scrape to chin (Wife helped with that).
6 - Many, every time I take it out its a Prowler event.
7 - See #6, but add that I wave.
8 - None, except every time I take it out its a show.
9 - I didn't pick the plates but they are assigned to the car personally.
10 - I have bought every Prowler model I can find, have a Prowler belt buckle and had a Prowler necklace and bracelet made in 22k gold for my wife while I was on R&R in Bahrain.

1. I own two - 99 Black and 02 Candy Red
2. My driving season is limited to about from April/May to November. During that time, I drive it every day as long as it is not raining.
3. After having my 99 Black for two years, I only had about 4500 miles on it. I realized that because I worked full time and gone most weekends to the cottage, I was hardly driving it. When I quit my job, I was able to drive it a lot more and after 3 years, I now have over 12,000 miles on it. I picked up my Candy Red in Feb. of 02 and I just turned over 6700 miles on the way home from CTC.
4. Wax it once in Spring, Summer, Fall. Dust and detail it just about every time I drive it.
5. No mods on the black this year. Candy Red just got side panels, chrome grille, painted bumpers, Mopar/Borla exhaust, hitch, trailer, chrome hitch plug and mud flaps.
6. North American International Auto Show/CAAP Tour- 1/02
Conner Avenue Assemby Plant Tribute - 2/02
Prowlin' In Kentucky (part of it)- 5/02
Cruisin' The Rockies - 6/02
Harvest Home Parade - 8/02
Skyline Drive - VA - 10/02
Cruisin' The Coast / Prowler Drags 2002 - 10/02
7. One parade - Harvest Home Parade in Cincy
8. I was only in one car show this year. We spend most weekends at our cottage, so I don't have much opportunity to attend car shows on the weekends.
9. Personalized plate for Black cat: PPROWLR
Personalized plate for Candy Red: CJPRWLN
10. Prowler memorablia..........yikes!
I have somewhere between 400-500 cars, a Prowler necklace, 2 aluminum press kits, 3 clocks, 20-25 posters, ornaments, keychains, mugs, glasses, pins, pens, pencils, lighter, hardhat, cookies, patches, paper cube, yo-yo, coasters, checkbook cover, mouse pads, calendars, oolers, neon cat, telephone, Prowler caps, panther sculpture, hundreds of photos, tons of media such as press kits, brochures, 70 magazines containing Prowler articles, etc. etc. etc. My whole office is devote to Prowler memorabilia.

My dedication is not just related to your above questions, but also to working hard to help other Prowler owners have the best Prowler experience possible by trying to provide accurate and timely information during the life of the Prowler, organize and assist with organizing Prowler events, plant tours, shopping, etc. I worked hard with DC to renew the accessories and the trailers. I've worked diligently to help the CAAP store and the Museum in providing Prowler merchandise for the owners. I've managed to obtain brochures, posters, t-shirts, videos, etc. from DC to pass along to the owners.......and like a lot of others, tried to keep this website an informative and fun place to be!!!!

I am a newbie and my car is still stock (except for the mods). I have been in a couple of parades, REDS Opening Day and Harvest Home. I have been to quite a few events and have about 28,000 miles after 3 1/2 years. I am not a joiner so usually do things all by myself.

I was wrong, this isn't going to be hard to pick a winner. It's going to be more like impossible.

It is great fun reading all of these. Would also love to hear from those that typically don't post so the rest of us can get to know a bit about you.

Come on, what have you got to lose?????
